DALLAS—January 24, 2016—Burns360, a Dallas-based digital marketing and PR firm, has won a Silver Davey Award for its new website design.

Presented by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, the Davey Awards honor the best in web, design, video, advertising, mobile and social from boutique agencies all over the world.

Launched in August 2016, the new website (www.burns-360.com) has already experienced over 50% more traffic and page views than its predecessor. In addition, the bounce rate has decreased by 25%, and visitors are staying on the site more than three times as long as the previous one.

Michael Burns, founder and president of Burns360, attributes the improved key performance indicators (KPIs) to the site’s responsive design and overall user experience (UX).

“Our earlier site was built long before a mobile-first mindset became the norm for digital marketers,” Burns said. “We felt the timing was right for us to launch a site that could better demonstrate our capabilities and appeal to a whole new generation of users.

“I’m particularly proud of this award because it’s much, much harder to design and build your own website than it is to create one for someone else,” he added.

The honor marks the second time the agency has won a Davey Award. In 2012, the agency won a Gold Davey for its design of the Greater Yield website.
